OCB & IFPA Yorton Cup

Washington DC, USA 29 October 2011

Jon Clark has been invited as part of the British Team to take part in the above event in October. Having just won the British Over40s Title Jon is straight back on the diet and training for his first World level comp in over three years......

October 23rd Natural Physique Association British Finals

Sees three of our members competing for British Titles. Kelly Freeman in the ladies physique, Steve Howarth in Masters and Joe Lyon in the Juniors. Mick Green NABBA Central Britain Champion

Mick Green owner of the Pantry Green cafe and Churchills Bistro in Rotherham won the Central Britain title on the 8th October. This means we have winners galore now at Revolution, the place to be for results.......

October is Bupa Great Yorkshire Run time

Rachael and Jon were in on the act again and recorded 53 minute times, not bad for the oldies of the team. Nicky Rodgers in her first 10k run posted a respectable 1 hour 5 minutes and Pat Walsh also finished in the low 50s.  It was a great day once again and we would love to see more members take part next year. Ask at reception if you are interested.....

 KYLE PLACED 5th NPA Mike Williams Classic

Well done to Kyle Hague who runs the supplement shop in the gym. He placed 5th in a tough novice competition at the Natural Physique Association Mike Williams Classic 2011 in Penistone.

Kelly Freeman placed 2nd in the Ladies Physique, Emma Grozna was 4th in the figure and Steve Howarth was 4th in the Pro-Am. Go Team Evo it was a massive showing, well done guys......

 JON is NEW BNBF BRITISH O/40s MASTERS CHAMPION 2011

Jon Clark won his class at the British Finals on Sunday 18th September becoming the over 40s British Champion. Well done Jon, well deserved. He now has an invite to the World level competition in Washington DC (The Yorton Cup) where he will compete as part of the Great Britain Team. 

No rest then, straight back on the diet for Jon.......

 

BNBF NORTHERN MASTERS CHAMPION 2011

Jon Clark was crowned British Natural Bodybuilding Federation Northern Masters Champion 2011. Jon now qualifies for the British Finals in September. Jon beat the field including the reigning Northern Champion in his first foray into the over40s category. Great shape and muscle depth coupled with the stylish posing routine meant he also walked away with Best Presentation Trophy.

Six weeks until the British Finals gives Jon time to fine tune and take it all one step further.

NABBA Britain 28th May 2011

Mick Green, owner of The Pantry Green, Ro therham has been training with Revolution Gym since last summer. Jon has been providing person  al training for Mick, who wanted to compete in his first bodybuilding show. He did just that last week and placed 2nd in the NABBA Northeast Masters. That result qualified him for the NABBA British Finals, Southport, 28th May 2011.

Good luck Mick, all of Revolution and I am sure Rotherham are wishing you well.....
